Cancellation & Refund Policy

Jadoshi Tours & Safaris
Last updated: 2 October 2026

At Jadoshi Tours & Safaris, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, changes and refunds are handled for tours, safaris, transfers, accommodation and other travel services booked through us.

By making a booking with Jadoshi Tours & Safaris, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email, WhatsApp or another approved communication channel.

The date on which we receive your cancellation request will be used to determine whether a refund is available.

Cancellation charges

Unless different cancellation terms have been specifically provided to you for your booking:

  • More than 30 days before the scheduled departure: deposit payments may be refundable, less any non-refundable costs already incurred on your behalf.

  • 15–30 days before departure: cancellation charges may apply and any refund will depend on costs already committed to suppliers.

  • 7–14 days before departure: a substantial cancellation charge may apply.

  • Less than 7 days before departure: payments are non-refundable.

  • No-show: no refund will be provided.

Because some services must be prepaid or secured in advance, cancellation charges may vary depending on the individual booking.

Where a supplier has imposed a non-refundable charge, that amount may be deducted from any refund payable to you.

2. Non-Refundable Services

Certain components of a booking may be non-refundable once purchased or confirmed.

These may include:

  • domestic or international flights;

  • accommodation;

  • park and conservation fees;

  • permits;

  • boat trips;

  • private vehicles;

  • special activities;

  • event or attraction tickets;

  • third-party services; and

  • other services identified as non-refundable at the time of booking.

Where a booking contains non-refundable components, we will advise you where reasonably possible before the booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellation by Jadoshi Tours & Safaris

In some circumstances, Jadoshi Tours & Safaris may need to cancel or substantially change a tour, safari or other service.

This may occur because of:

  • severe weather;

  • unsafe travel conditions;

  • government restrictions;

  • park or conservation authority decisions;

  • airline or transport cancellations;

  • supplier cancellation;

  • operational issues;

  • natural disasters;

  • security concerns; or

  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where we cancel a booking, we will work with you to determine the available options.

Depending on the circumstances, these may include:

  • rescheduling the booking;

  • changing the itinerary;

  • providing an alternative service; or

  • providing a refund where applicable.

Refunds may be limited where money has already been paid to third-party suppliers and those amounts are non-refundable.

4. Weather and Natural Conditions

Many of our experiences take place outdoors and may be affected by weather, sea conditions or other natural conditions.

For safety reasons, a boat trip, safari activity, excursion or other experience may need to be delayed, rescheduled, modified or cancelled.

Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement where possible.

Weather-related cancellation does not automatically guarantee a full refund where third-party costs have already been incurred.

5. Changes Requested by the Customer

If you wish to change your booking after it has been confirmed, please contact us as soon as possible.

Changes may include:

  • travel dates;

  • number of travellers;

  • accommodation;

  • tour or safari itinerary;

  • transfers;

  • activities; or

  • other booking arrangements.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, subject to availability.

Additional costs resulting from a requested change may be payable by the customer.

Where a requested change results in cancellation charges from an airline, hotel, park, accommodation provider or other supplier, those charges may be passed on to the customer.

6. No-Shows and Missed Services

No refunds will normally be provided where a customer:

  • does not attend a scheduled tour;

  • does not arrive at the agreed departure point;

  • misses a scheduled transfer;

  • misses a flight or other transport;

  • arrives too late to participate in an activity; or

  • chooses not to participate after the service has commenced.

Customers are responsible for arriving at agreed meeting points at the required time.

7. Flight Delays and Cancellations

Where flights are included in a booking, flights may be operated by an independent airline or aviation provider.

Flight schedules, delays, cancellations and changes are outside the direct control of Jadoshi Tours & Safaris.

If an airline changes or cancels a flight, we will assist you where reasonably possible with alternative arrangements.

Any additional costs imposed by the airline or resulting from changes requested by the customer may be payable by the customer.

8. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, we will advise you of the amount and the expected processing arrangements.

Refunds may take time to process where we must first receive funds from a third-party supplier.

Any applicable payment processing fees, bank charges, currency conversion costs or non-refundable supplier charges may be deducted from the amount refunded where applicable.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before travelling.

Your travel insurance should, where appropriate, provide cover for:

  • trip cancellation;

  • medical expenses;

  • emergency evacuation;

  • lost or delayed baggage;

  • flight disruption;

  • personal belongings;

  • travel delays; and

  • other risks associated with international travel.

Jadoshi Tours & Safaris is not responsible for losses that could reasonably have been covered by appropriate travel insurance.

10. Special Booking Conditions

Some tours, safaris, accommodation packages or promotional offers may have cancellation and refund conditions that differ from this general policy.

Where special conditions apply, those conditions will be communicated to you before or at the time of booking and will take precedence over this general policy to the extent of any inconsistency.

11. How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel a booking, please contact Jadoshi Tours & Safaris using the contact details provided on our website.

Please include:

  • your name;

  • booking reference;

  • scheduled travel date;

  • details of the service being cancelled; and
