Days 1–2: Arrival in Zanzibar & Beach Relaxation

Arrive in Zanzibar, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in, settle in and enjoy time relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean. During your stay, enjoy a spectacular sunset dhow cruise and take in the island’s stunning coastal scenery.

Days 3–4: Zanzibar Island Experiences

Discover Zanzibar’s history, culture and traditions. Explore the winding streets of historic Stone Town, visit a local spice farm and learn about the island’s famous spices. Take a boat trip to Prison Island, discover its giant tortoises and enjoy time exploring local markets and experiencing Zanzibar’s unique cultural heritage.

Days 5–6: Zanzibar Ocean Adventures

Enjoy Zanzibar’s turquoise waters with an ocean adventure around Mnemba Island. Experience snorkelling among colourful marine life, visit a beautiful sandbank and enjoy a seafood lunch. Spend the remainder of your time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the island’s tropical atmosphere.

Days 7–9: Tanzania Mainland Safari

Fly from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania to begin your African wildlife safari. Travel to your selected national park and settle into your lodge or tented camp. Enjoy exciting game drives through Tanzania’s spectacular landscapes, looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and other wildlife.

Days 10–11: Explore Another National Park

Continue your safari adventure with full-day game drives and the opportunity to explore another of Tanzania’s remarkable national parks. Discover different landscapes and wildlife habitats while enjoying the experience of being in the African wilderness.

Days 12–13: Return to Zanzibar

Return to Zanzibar by flight and enjoy the final days of your holiday at leisure. Relax on the beach, revisit your favourite spots or choose an optional Zanzibar excursion to make the most of your remaining time on the island.

Day 14: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before your transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure, bringing your 14-day Zanzibar and Tanzania safari adventure to a close.
